Colchester Connector Program

What is the Colchester Connector Program?

The Colchester Connector Program puts newcomers in touch with local services, business owners, managers, volunteers, community leaders… people that can make a difference to someone new to the Colchester community.

Who is a Connector/Connectee?

Connectors are friendly people in the Truro::Colchester area who have networks in the community and who are comfortable introducing people.

Connectees are newcomers in the Truro::Colchester area who are looking to make connections either in their professional field or for social reasons (such as recreation, schooling, etc).

How to Connect

When a connection has been made, an email will be sent between the connector and the newcomer. The newcomer will then set an informal meeting with his/her connector.

After the meeting, connectors will introduce the newcomer to 3 community members within their network.

What Next?

Meet with the connector/newcomer. Discuss social and professional interests and educational background. The connector refers the newcomer to 3 people within their network who share similar interests or skills.

The newcomer follows up with the 3 referrals the connector set up.
