Seaside High-Speed Update

Dear residents,

Today, we are pleased to announce that three new structures are now in service! Two are in Cumberland County - Amherst Point and Barronsfield, and the third is in Bayview, Pictou County.

Our work continues across our territory, with each county receiving equal attention.

Recently we have been concentrating our efforts on adding twenty more structures to our network design. These structures have now moved into the permitting phase - a four- to eight-week process. Once our permits have arrived, our construction crews will begin clearing ground. Once the structures are built, we will move quickly to install the necessary radio equipment on each.

Our goal is to have all twenty structures completed by the end of May, 2010. In the meantime, we continue to work on required network upgrades, and planning for any hard-to-reach areas.

We do understand the frustration of waiting. We assure you that we will continue to work hard until we have reached our goal of serving everyone who wishes to have high-speed.
